We are very pleased to present issue #2 of the Black Dog Review. For this issue we have outstanding fiction from Adam Kelly Morton, Mitchell Grabois, Liz Bets, and contributing editor Steve Passey, along with some compelling creative non-fiction/essay by A. Whitmore. We have poetry by Linda M Crate, Diarmuid ó Maolalaí, Tom Zimmerman, and James Croal Jackson. We also have two book reviews: Hermine Robinson reviews Darrin Doyle’s Scoundrels Among Us” and Kathy Doll reviews the Coffin Hop Press all-female noir anthology (various writers) “The Dame was Trouble”.

In addition to thanking our contributors we’d like to thank all who submitted. Putting together Black Dog Review is not so much a process of acceptance/rejection as it is a process of selection. We receive many wonderful pieces and really enjoy reading though them.
We hope you enjoy the issue, and we hope you consider submitting to us for #3 due in the Spring of 2019.
